For decades, soft liberals have been undermining the United States’ core values and traditions by, among other things, trying to lessen the place of the English language in our country. Those of us whose ancestors did not immigrate from English-speaking countries quickly learned English in order to assimilate and become Americans, but somehow foreigners don’t have to.
Instead of teaching these kids in English so that they can succeed in our country as full-fledged Americans, these wrong-headed liberals want to cater to the foreigners by teaching them in Spanish or other language. In the government, many documents are in both English and Spanish, creating total confusion. Donald Trump has decided to finally put a stop to this madness.
Many people have observed that there have been significant changes to the U.S. President’s official website whitehouse.gov since Trump has taken office, and one of them is the fact that the website is now entirely in English. When Obama was President, he tried to promote Spanish as America’s “second language,” and the website had a Spanish version.
When people try to click on a Spanish version, the website now says “the page you’re looking for can’t be found.” When people complained about it, Press Secretary Sean Spicer said it was no longer a priority, explaining, “We hit the ground running on Day One. There was a lot of work to do, and we had done a lot of work on the website to make sure that we were prepared to get as much information up as fast as possible.”
He added, “We are continuing to build out the website both in the issue areas and in that area. But we’ve got the IT folks working overtime to continue to get all of that up to speed. Trust me, it’s going to take a little bit more time, but we’re working piece by piece to get that done.” Are you happy that Trump is defending the English language?
