Ivanka Trump has been diligently by her father’s side since he started his presidential campaign and now that he’s in the White House, her role and influence over his has been even more prevalent. Twenty-four hours after the conclusion of a closed-door conversation, the First Daughter emerged with shocking news about her father nobody was expecting.
Trump’s eldest daughter has been largely regarded having had a calming influence on her father and now that her husband, Jared Kushner, has been made his senior advisor, that effect was two-fold. While many say that his son-in-law was awarded this political position because of nepotism, that couldn’t be further from the truth as he’s worked hard to prove himself, and now we see that Trump isn’t handing out favors.
Kushner was instrumental in arranging the meeting between Trump and Mexican PresidentEnrique Pena Nieto last week. That meeting fell through because of Nieto’s refusal to pay for the border wall Trump promised, which was a huge let down to Kushner who spent 24-hours behind closed doors to make that happen.
“Kushner was f****** furious,” a source close to the situation told Vanity Fair. “I’d never once heard him say he was angry throughout the entire campaign. But he was furious.” After this unfortunate fallout between the two presidents and Kushner feeling like he failed his father-in-law, people began speculating that his and Ivanka’s influence over Trump was quickly diminishing, despite the fact that it was nothing that this senior advisor or his daughter had to do with Nieto’s apparent defiance, The Independent reported.
The publicity hits keep on coming for this couple as the mainstream media is pushing a claim that Trump was furious at Ivanka for sharing a photo online of her “date night” with her Kushner, which the President allegedly felt was in poor taste considering that there protests over her father’s immigration order had erupted around the country. As it turns out, her liberal detractors in the media were actually upset about it, referring to the posted photo as “wildly offensive,” “inappropriate,” and “tone deaf. It’s clear that they just had to find something to leech onto and rip her over since she doesn’t provide a plethora of opportunities like Michelle Obama did.
Ivanka is allowed a couple hours of reprieve with her husband after hours of meetings and deal makings, especially since she doesn’t do so on the taxpayer’s dime. Furthermore, it’s doubtful that Donald Trump was upset about it since he picked her days later to fly with him exclusively to greet the family of a fallen Navy SEAL. They can make the claim that his daughter’s influence over her father is gone, but the truth is that liberals just love to hate a strong, beautiful, and self-assured woman.
