Singer/songwriter Madonna has had some of the most crazy and melodramatic reactions to Trump out of all the Hollywood celebrities. She has said that since Trump was elected she has felt like she was dumped and stuck in a nightmare. However, her latest comments may have been her most crazy and dangerous yet.
She made a speech at the anti-Trump protests, that included her fantasies of blowing up the White House.
“I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House. But I know that this won’t change anything. We cannot fall into despair,” said Madonna.
“As the poet W.H. Auden once wrote on the eve of World War II, we must love one another or die. I choose love. Are you with me? Say this with me — ‘We choose love.’ We choose love. We choose love,” she said. She is inferring that supporting Trump, means you aren’t choosing love, and that’s a lie.
“Are you ready to shake up the world? Welcome to the revolution of love, to the rebellion, to out refusal as women to accept this new age of tyranny, where not just women are in danger but all regionalized people. Where being uniquely different, right now, might truly be considered a crime,” she said. Who knows what the hell she’s talking about.
“It took this horrific moment of darkness to wake us the fuck up. We have slipped into a false sense of comfort. Good did not win this election, but good will win in the end. Donald Trump, go suck a d**k,” she said. So much for ‘revolution of love’. Check out the video below.
