Nobody in American Presidential history abused his executive powers more than our (thankfully) former President Barack Hussein Obama. Without consulting Congress, Obama defied the American people hundreds of times by, among other things, using taxpayer money to turn a gay bar in New York City into a “national monument.”
President Donald Trump has no intention of trampling on our system like Obama did. However, on his first day in office President Trump did take the time to make an executive order and create a brand new federal holiday that Obama and his America-hating cronies will surely detest.
According to reports, Trump just officially created a new holiday called the National Day of Patriotism. All that’s left for Trump and his advisers to do is select the most fitting day for American citizens to celebrate it.
Stated the Associated Press about President Trump’s action, “Shortly after taking office as the 45th U.S. president, Trump signed a series of documents on the Senate floor establishing his new administration. Among the president’s first acts was signing a proclamation for a national day of patriotism, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer revealed on Twitter.”
Trump’s White House has yet to divulge particulars about the new National Day of Patriotism, although Sean Spicer clarified that the holiday’s intent was to “make America great again.” Liberals, of course, have been whining on social media about it, as they can’t handle overt displays of patriotism. Are you glad that Trump is sending this strong message to Americans about putting our country first?
